Jazzing 5

The evolution of the band is continuous, of each and every one of its members. The music traps us, envelops us and doesn't let us leave. When this happens at such a young age as the musicians who make up the SAJB, the result is incredible, both collectively and individually.

Working on listening and assimilating the different ingredients to have an "authentic" sound increases day by day their capacity to understand and assimilate the jazz language and their ability to improvise.

And if we talk about the voices (nine of them represented in this new work), each one of them different from the others, each one drinking from different sources and, as the months and years go by, they are reaching a maturity and a personality of their own.

In this Jazzing 5 we have been able to count, once again, with musicians of the stature of Dick Oatts, Scott Robinson, Perico Sambeat, Josep M. Farrás, Ignasi Terraza, Josep Traver, Esteve Pi, Curro Gálvez and Toni Belenguer.
