Descripción

Reissue of the album that was released in 2006. It is a work that brings together jazz, through a big band featuring the best of Spanish jazz, and Latin jazz, with flamenco.

This 'Music For Big Band' was the second album recorded in Spain by the legendary Nuyorican trumpet player Jerry González, after his debut with Los Piratas del Flamenco.

This time he teamed up with Miguel Blanco, a musician who has been behind such interesting projects as Afrodisian Orchestra and La Calle Caliente. To carry the project forward, they had the participation of a wide range of musicians from different jazz musical tendencies, who put together seven songs that mix their own compositions or Blanco's arrangements with jazz classics.
