In 2012 Joan Chamorro & Andrea Motis were asked by the Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès to perform a concert together as part of the Symphoniques cycle at the Palau.
They immediately found the idea very interesting. Already, on their second album Feeling Good, they had recorded some songs with a string quartet and loved the experience. Now they were given the opportunity to go further and be accompanied by a full symphony orchestra.
They accepted the proposal and agreed on the repertoire on which the arrangements were to be written, looking for a variety of rhythms and for everyone to feel comfortable.
The concert, held at the Palau de la Música Catalana, was a success, and the result is included in this new work that we now present.
