Joan Mar Sauqué Quintet plays Fats Navarro 100 aniversari!

Joan Mar Sauqué, admirer and debtor of the music of Fats Navarro, pays tribute to the trumpet player, one of the greatest exponents of bebop and a great innovator of the trumpet language in jazz, on the centenary of his birth through versions of his most iconic compositions and original compositions following the trumpet player's style.

The evolution of jazz, and above all of the trumpet, has been nourished by the great contribution made by Fats Navarro at the age of 27.
